A focused club model built for intentional player development.

Austin Select Volleyball is a one-team club committed to disciplined development, competitive excellence, and a training environment where athletes are challenged to grow with confidence and purpose.

Who we are

We didn't build Austin Select Volleyball because we thought we could do it better. We built it because it didn't exist.

Austin Select Volleyball is a team of 10 players devoted to becoming the best players AND people they could be. This goes beyond volleyball. It's about pushing the status quo to develop young women into the best version of themselves.

Why we started

Austin Select Volleyball was founded on an opportunity not to compete with what already exists, but to build something that doesn't exist. The idea is straightforward: what happens when a single 15U team gets access to elite positional coaches, paid at rates that attract the best talent in the region, combined with a full suite of athletic development resources that most clubs simply can't offer?

We are a one-team club by design. That means every dollar, every coach, every practice hour, and every resource we have goes to one group of young women. There are no competing priorities.

What we invest in

Most clubs invest in coaching and tournaments. We do too, but we also invest in everything around the athlete that determines whether a player reaches her potential: elite positional coaching, strength and conditioning, speed and agility, jump mechanics, nutrition, sports psychology, unlimited private gym access, and active college recruiting support.

Why sports matter

We play sports to become more than we were. When the conditioning hurts, when you're exhausted in the fifth set, when you fail in front of a crowd, that's where character is built. Grit. Determination. The ability to push past what you thought your limit was.

But more than that, sports teach us to question and to ask: Is there a better way? Why do we do it like this? What if we pushed harder, trained smarter, thought differently?

Austin Select Volleyball isn't just about winning volleyball matches. It's about building young women who don't accept the status quo. Who see a problem and ask how to solve it. Who understand that discomfort is where growth happens, on the court and in life.

Positional Coaching

Elite Positional Training

A 15U athlete isn't a generic volleyball player. She's a middle, a setter, or a pin — and each of those jobs asks for its own footwork, its own timing, and its own read of the game. Austin Select builds position-specific training into the season instead of leaving it to whatever minutes are left at the end of a team practice.

Our one-team model is what makes that possible. Every training dollar and every practice hour goes to a single roster, so athletes get small-group work in their own position group — coached at a level of technical detail most clubs can only offer their oldest teams.

Middles

Blocking footwork, timing off the net, and transition tempo — the repeatable movement patterns that make a middle a threat on both sides of the ball.

Setters

Hands, footwork, and decision-making under pressure. Setters learn to read a block and run an offense, not just deliver a clean ball.

Pins

Approach consistency, swing mechanics, and shot selection for outside and right-side hitters — power that finishes inside the court.

Austin Select Volleyball

Austin Select Volleyball is committed to disciplined training, meaningful development, and a team culture built to compete with confidence and purpose.
